आम सभा की वार्षिक बैठक में नये कार्यकारिणी का गठन किया गया । इस बैठक की अध्यक्षता संस्था के प्रमुख संरक्षक श्री अजीत कुमार झा ने की। नये कार्यकारिणी में कोषाध्यक्ष श्रीमती जयंती देवी के स्थान पर ममता देवी को नियुक्त किया गया।

The thyroid is one of the largest endocrine glands in the body. This gland is found in the neck inferior to (below) the thyroid cartilage (also known as the Adam's apple in men) and at approximately the same level as the cricoid cartilage. The thyroid controls how quickly the body burns energy, makes proteins, and how sensitive the body should be to other hormones.
The thyroid participates in these processes by producing thyroid hormones, principally thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). These hormones regulate the rate of metabolism and affect the growth and rate of function of many other systems in the body. Iodine is an essential component of both T3 and T4. The thyroid also produces the hormone calcitonin, which plays a role in calcium homeostasis.
The thyroid is controlled by the hypothalamus and pituitary. The gland gets its name from the Greek word for "door", after the shape of the related thyroid cartilage. Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) and hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) are the most common problems of the thyroid gland

Education

Right to Information Act 2005 mandates timely response to citizen requests for government information. It is an initiative taken by Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions to provide a– RTI Portal Gateway to the citizens for quick search of information on the details of first Appellate Authorities,PIOs, Directory of Employees etc. amongst others, besides access to RTI related information published on the web by various Public Authorities under the government of India as well as the State Governments.

Executive body

Formation of New Executive Committee
A executive body meeting of the organisation was held under the chairmanship of Shri Ajeet Kumar Jha on 17 August 2008. The secretary brief the members about the progress of the organisation.

Celebration of Independance Day

Annapurna Smriti Kendra (ASK) had celebrated the independance day at the head office Chhota Govindpur, Jamshedpur. The Secretary Shri Sanjay Kumar made all the arrangement for this function. The flag hosting was done by Shri Ajeet Kumar Jha, the Chief Patron of the organisation. All the members was present at the occassion.
